We finished in a respectable fifth place during the 2023/24 season in division 2 of the Gloucestershire County Women's Football League.
The club is now looking towards its 10th anniversary in 2025 during the upcoming 24/25 season. It was first started up when the Bradley Stoke Youth U16’s had finished their final youth season, and with no women’s team in the club’s set up, there was no step up available to them. Martin Lee, who was the U16’s manager at the time, then plucked up the courage to start a women’s team and the rest is history! He is still managing BSLFC to date and there are 3 players in the current squad from the original BSLFC team in 2015.
Opportunities for Young Players
With key links to Bradley Stoke Youth since being established, the club has always valued and respected giving young female players opportunities in the women's game, which can often be daunting.
Youth players can train with the team from age 15 and be able to play matches in the league and cups once they turn 16. We encourage all young players to get involved and everyone is welcome. Summer training is 6:30-8:00pm on Tuesday's at Bradley Stoke Community School.
